Attorneys and GALs can help ensure client access to safe, court-supported services through Children’s Safe Harbor.
- Supervised Visitation must be court-ordered using the Children’s Safe Harbor-specific form
- Safe Exchange Services can be either court-ordered or mutually agreed upon by both parents
- Attorneys should advise clients that both parties must contact Children’s Safe Harbor individually to begin the intake process—appointments will not be scheduled until this occurs
- If you or a GAL need confirmation of a parent’s enrollment or service use:
- A Children’s Safe Harbor Release of Information (ROI) form must be completed and signed by the parent before Children’s Safe Harbor can release any information
